A excellent night was had by all who attended the Fire and Ice Ball. The evening statred with an excellent 5 course meal, then was quickly followed by an awards ceremony. The music for the evening was supplied by Rubber Biscuit, who managed to get most people on the dance floor!
Then there was a slight interruption from 5 members of Margate Round Table, who provided all with an excellent cabaret act, see below.
During the evening some lovely ladies fleeced everyone for raffle tickets, with all proceeds from the raffle going to Margate Round Table Wish Appeal

Three Peaks Challenge
Over the Weekend 18 - 21 June 2009, Margate Round Table will be climbing the three highest peaks in Great Britain, to raise money for charity. All money raised over the weekend will be spilt between Diabetes UK, and Margate Round Tables Wish Appeal.
Training for this grueling event has already begun with a number of practice walks, soon we are even gong to tackle some hills! If you would like to sponsor us, please use the form on the left.
Jury takes the Chair
Matt Jury has taken over as Chairman of Margate Round Table. On Wednesday 15 April Matt Jury took over as Chairman’s of Margate Round Table from Rob Brown. Once the obligatory photos were taken Matt announced the following positions;
